ANOTHER DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

This is my first blog on blogspot! I am slowing moving form xanga to this blogsite.
In March we hosted a Reform University Fellowship team (RUF) from Wake Forest University in NC. They did some construction work for us and worked with kids in our mission outreach area; Carlsen Field. A couple of "techno" geeks worked on some office stuff for me and got my Ligonier equipment up and running. This team was a joy to work with and we sure hated to see them go!

I am preparing to leave to St. Vincent this Friday to teach at out MINTS study center on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, I will be speaking to a group of pastors and church leaders on suicide prevention. Apparently, in St. Vincent a lot of young people are attempting suicide on a weekly basis. From 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, I will be teaching a class on Historical Theology. Sunday I preach and then return home to Trinidad.
That's it for now. I just updated my xanga site so for those who want to read more go to:

Steve,

Glad to find you over on the Blogger world. Will have to update my links. I am still at www.bovinetheology.com.

Met Ron Smith at a presbytery meeting last weekend. Didn't know he was on his way down there, but glad to know we'll have more folks on the ground with you.

Take care,
Seth Wallace (MTW)
